(Deathstep/Death Metal)

nekrosectomy-logoNekrosectomy was formed in Provo, Utah, in September 2010 when drummer Matthew Morrison and bassist Candon Gray started a band named, Abaddon. Not long after their inception, Gray was introduced to DJ Kickadelic through a mutual friend who thought the two would hit it off because they shared a similar musical vision.

Although youthful, and primarily instrumentalists,  Nekrosectomy is known for their unique mixture of death metal, deathcore, and deathstep elements. The result is a dark, blistering sound which combines the slow tempos and melancholic atmosphere of doom metal led by macabre undertones fused with death metal riffs, filthy dubstep wobbles, blast beats, and the use of hardcore punk breakdowns.

Opus X

Born and reared in the once dominant music metropolis of Detroit, Michigan — home of the Motown sound, a young Opus X had little trouble finding partners in rhythm and rhyme while growing up.

In the late 1990’s Opus X became increasing fascinated with electronic music. However it wouldn’t be until 2006 that he would actually begin composing and producing any material. A year later he released his first single, “Manic Ascension,” which quickly became a Drum‘n’Bass club favorite.

To date Opus X has three CD releases under his belt, and has been credited with playing a major role in the evolution of modern Drum’n’Bass music, particularly in the States.

UFO Wheel

Forced to make a crash landing in 1947 near Roswell, New Mexico, a location known today as Area 51, the EBEs (Extraterrestrial Biological Entities) aboard the small scout ship, now simply code-named UFO Wheel, live among us practically unnoticed. In an effort to open multi-dimensional gateways to phone home and beyond they employ the sub woofs and whomps of dubstep which serve as a harmonic resonator in the stabilization of wormholes. The beats they engender have been modified to protect the human population from neurological damage.

Urban Dubstep Guerillas

UDG Greatest Hits Cover2Urban Dubstep Guerillas (UDG) is a U.S. based dubstep/deathstep/grimestep outfit consisting of four DJs (Kickadelic, TripHopolis, Kheprakorn, and Salmagundi). Prior to the formation of Urban Dubstep Guerillas in 2011 all four DJs along with Drum‘n’Bass artist Opus X (who was then known as Sonic Loop) comprised the now legendary Q3S (QuadRa Sonix Sound System) disc jockey entourage.

To date Urban Dubstep Guerillas is Mutant Soundz premier act topping the dubstep music charts with a string of scorching hot releases. The group’s latest single, “10-9-8-7” is no exception.

We at Mutant Soundz are always looking for new and innovative artists. Unlike many “independent” record labels who claim to be open to “unsigned acts” and “independent artists,” Mutant Soundz does not have any stringent or rigid rules pertaining to demo submissions. Although we mainly release Drum‘n’Bass, Dubstep, Trap, and Bass music, as long as the music is an original composition we will give it a listen. The genre doesn’t matter, and yes, we listen to every submission we receive! If you are simply looking for feedback, just specify so and we will get back to you within two weeks of your submission.
